Snapshots from Lucca

Tiziano Antognozzi and I co-curated an exhibition to celebrate 30 years of Magic. Our show was presented at this year's Lucca Comics and Games festival in Italy. It took eight months to put together.

Here are some snapshots from my time in the medieval city.

All photos were shot on a Canon 6D camera (2013) and a Canon EF 35mm f2 lens, in JPEG format, with very little editing in post.

This was an experience I hope to repeat and will never forget.

Eight months of curation really shows in those snapshots—the medieval streets and minimal editing give the whole thing such an authentic, timeless feel. Also, cool to see a Canon 6D still holding up so nicely. By the way, I keep a free recipe site for late-night cravings I like to share: https://foodnevercomes.net/

Eight months of curation really shows—those medieval streets must have made the perfect backdrop for three decades of Magic. I’ve been digging into similar exhibition archives lately, so check out https://z-image-turbo.me

I've shot with that same Canon 6D and 35mm f2 combo for years, and it's always impressive how much character it brings to medieval architecture like those Lucca scenes. The eight months of curation really comes through in how the Magic anniversary pieces feel grounded in that setting. — tuoverse.com
